Listen up, ladies! Quite a few articles may have evoked some negative emotions when they told yoga-pant-lovers that it is not okay to look like a bum every day, but they're right. Take it from me, whose wardrobe consists largely of graphic tees and Nike Pro compression wear.

I've learned that there comes a point in a woman's life where she has to face the fact that it matters how she looks to the public eye, especially in the world of business. Who do they think they are to judge, right?! Still, trust me, it's important to not make EVERY day a bum day.

But don't worry! There are many little ways to roll out of bed when you're late for work or otherwise feeling low-maintenance, and still look like a dime.

1. Throw on a dress.

Always say yes to a dress when you're feeling lazy. They're easy to put on, easy to deal with in the bathroom and literally everyone will be saying they wish they had the drive to dress up like you every day.

2. Wear a cute top with leggings.

A flowy or long shirt can really give your leggings the refresh needed to trick people into thinking you tried with your outfit.

3. Put on an oversized sweatshirt.

Big comfy clothing is SO in. You can create an ideal look pairing a big sweatshirt with some of the other items from this list. Just look how Ariana Grande slays in her Reebok!

4. Get yourself a matching track suit.

If you dare make a statement, Bella Hadid and Kylie Jenner are wearing them, so it's okay for you to wear them, too. Track suits are back, baby!

5. Layer with a scarf.

Scarves are forever the cutest functional accessory on the planet. They don't just warm your neck-- they make even a plain t-shirt pop.

6. Top off the outfit with a cute hat/hair piece.

You'd be surprised how much a hair accessory makes people think you are a fashion elite. Throw on a hat that suits your mood or a head band or hair wrap so you can tell the world that you're different from the masses.

7. Your favorite jewelry

Earrings. Necklaces. Bracelets. Whichever one you prefer, they always make an outfit look nice. You could be wearing a garbage bag and your outfit will still have purpose if you're wearing jewelry. Don't want to spend a lot of money? Get yourself a velvet choker, no shame!

8. A bun goes a long way.

In addition to jewelry, a ballerina bun is a great go-to for looking like you gave your outfit a lot of thought. Whenever I go without makeup, I throw my hair up and it really changes the message that my outfit gives.

9. Do your braids like Kim K.

The Kardashians and Jenners have been leading fashion icons for quite some time now, and they have shown us that two French braids is the way to go! This will take some practice to perfect, but once you have them down, they will complement every outfit.

10. You can't forget cute shoes!

Shoes make all the difference in the outfit. Whether sneaker, boot, flat or sandal, with a clean pair of cute shoes you can instantly go from drab to fab.

11. Accessorize with a matching purse.

Get yourself a cute over-the-shoulder purse to throw your items into--better yet, get a few.

12. For light makeup, do mascara and gold eyeshadow.

A little bit of gold shimmer and mascara goes a longggg way. I swear by Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara.

13. Dry shampoo

Dry shampoo is God's saving grace when you need a quick fix!!

14. Clean your face and moisturize.

Moisturize and cleanse to have a natural glow when you don't wear makeup. If you want to get a little extra, get a moisturizer with shimmer.

15. A dazzling personality

Overall, the most important thing is to wear your confidence! Own that ponytail, work that up-do!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
