Netflix has released Law and Order SVU Season 17. The fans are excited to binge watch and cry over our favorite characters.

I know personally it took me about three days to finish all twenty-three episodes. Over the course of those three days, I cried, laughed and smiled during the whole season.

Olivia Benson played by Mariska Hargitay has stolen America’s heart from the very beginning. We’ve seen her grow into the beautiful Lieutenant. She’s able to do it all while being a strong female detective and being a single parent. Her job has her in a role of power over other males within their task force to show that women can lead.

Amanda Rollins played by Kelli Giddish grew into the detective that we all wanted her to be. She still struggles and battles with her dysfunctional family. Even though, she might have overstepped her boundaries with her higher-ups. She did it with good intentions. I was surprised that she became a mother.

Fin Tutuola played by Ice-T. He has a quiet soul but when he speaks, it’s important. He has such a hard exterior but over the years, we learn that he has a son. His son, Ken wants to adopt a child which means Tutuola will have a grandson. He is my favorite character because the way he approaches each crime with a passion to protect and serve the people of New York City.

Sonny (Dominick) Carisi, Jr played by Peter Scanavino. He had a rocky start. It was difficult for him to transfer into a sensitive unit. He didn’t understand how to approach it but throughout this season, we see him become emotionally involved with each crime and dedicated to what he does.

The newest character that enters back on the scene is Mike Dodds played by Andy Karl. He is set up to fail when he is entering a air-tight unit. But his big heart is pure and we understand that in the finale episode. ( Do not worry, I will not spoil for those who need to watch still. ) His actions saves a woman's life. We all love the hero.

Each character has changed through these twenty-three episodes. We feel for all of these victims on the show. I can relate my own experiences to what happens in the episode. All of these sex crimes are relevant and need to be more aware to people that. Sexual assault is not a joke. Law and Order SVU does a great job of doing that.

For those of do not watch the show. You are missing out on a good series and important topic that needs to be discussed.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
