Spring Break is the most magical time during the Spring semester. People really know how to have a good time and use this time to the highest potential. But what if you don't have any plans? I am here to help!

If you are going to stay in the Phoenix area, there are plenty of last minute things to go and do with a few of your friends who are in the same boat. Last year, my roommate and I took a road trip, and stopped at some great spots along the way. These are some great ideas to spice up your spring break!

1. Out-Of-Africa

This was one of my favorite stops on the road trip, because I love animals. This is no ordinary zoo; you never come across a habitat where you can't see the animal inside. Out-of-Africa also includes an African safari where you can hand-feed the animals, including a giraffe named Pilgrim!

2. Montezuma's Castle

This architecture from an Indian tribe is truly an incredible thing to experience. This castle was for the tribes "royalty," and farther along the cliff side are the caves that would have been the "homes" to the other members of this tribe. It's a great spot to check out during spring break!

3. Bearizona

Yes, yes, more animals! This zoo harbors animals that were hurt in the wild, or baby animals that were abandoned or separated from their mothers. This park has animal exhibits that you drive through so you can really get up close and personal to the animals. Make sure you role your windows up for the hungry wolves!

4. Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon is one of the most incredible wonders of the world. If you haven't (or have) had the experience to see the Grand Canyon, then take advantage of Spring Break and make the trip to see it with your own eyes!

5. Sedona

Sedona is a prime tourist town where you can shop for souvenirs, and go on scenic hikes. Another attraction in the midst of this town is slide rock, which is a state park that you should check out if you're in Sedona.

6. Jerome

Jerome is a an old mining town that has been turned into a ghost town tourist attraction. Be sure to check out this spooky town and read about its history and legends. Also, try out the 'Haunted Hamburger' restaurant that has a ghostly tale of its own.

7. Fossil Creek

This attraction is a great place for the more adventurous outdoor types. Pitch a tent, start a fire, and enjoy roasting hot dogs and s'mores with your friends. Then enjoy a nice mile long hike up to Fossil Creek, where you can go cliff jumping, slide down the waterfall, or enjoy a refreshing swim in crystal clear waters.

8. Lake Pleasant

This is a great place for a day trip. Be sure to pack a picnic lunch and enjoy swimming in the lake. Make sure to bring a frisbee, football, and some playing cards to enjoy the beauty of this lake with your friends.

Make your Spring Break memorable, and try out one of these incredible spots as you enjoy your Spring Break in the great state of Arizona!

Toilet Troubles

"So, usually I would never go on a Tinder date but when you are out with girlfriends and a hot Bosnian guy says he wants to hang with you and his friends, you oblige. We head to their apartment and when I realized I may pee my pants if I don't find a bathroom soon. I ask for the bathroom and a friend of my tinder date shows me to it and said in all seriousness that I was not allowed to flush the toilet under ANY circumstances. Having a few drinks--or five--I relieved myself to, nevertheless, flush the toilet. Within seconds, his bathroom was flooded and towels were laid out everywhere to catch the toilet water. To say the least, we were not invited back"

With being a member of Greek life, you are going to come across people who HATE Greek life and who always want to say something negative towards it. If you're not a part of Greek life, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. But maybe try and keep some of the not-so-nice comments to yourself.
