Discover Lancaster

You get to come back to your favorite milkshakes

Everyone in Lancaster has a different favorite place for milkshakes depending on where exactly you live, but regardless of where that is, we all know that you can find the best milkshakes in Lancaster. (It's Maplehofe milkshakes in Quarryville for me).

Shady Maple breakfast

Even if you don't live super close to Shady Maple, like me, it's still much closer than when you were at school and you can now start your tradition of going there for breakfast back up with your friends.

Park City Mall

Okay so it might not be the best mall in the world, but Park City is probably the closest to you while you're home, and it's gotten much better throughout the years. It sure beats the mall that I have near me at school!

The best PA Dutch food is so close by now

Whoopie pies, shoo-fly pie and scrapple may have been some food that you missed while away at school. Now that you're back home, you have so many places to go to get these things within a 25-mile radius!

The outlets

Tanger and Rockvale Outlets are close again. Your wallet might not be happy about it, but you sure are!

You get to be back around the Amish and the farms

Okay so this isn't exactly that much fun, but a small part of you probably missed it!

Lancaster City is so much closer again

You missed the rural life

If you're away at school in anywhere other than Lancaster, you now realize that Lancaster is way more of a rural environment than you thought. And you've surprisingly missed it.

You're back with your family and friends

Nothing's better than being back with the people that you grew up with.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
