Lake Powell is a great place to spend time over the summer. Located in Northern Arizona near Page, the lake has more shoreline than the west coast of the United States. With the water levels constantly rising and falling due to the amount of snow up north, the lake is never the same scene twice. My family and a friend's family stayed on a houseboat on Lake Powell called The Legacy for a week. Over that week, we hiked, climbed, swam, jet-skied, tubed and adventured all over. Although the lake isn't as close as other lakes in the Phoenix area, it provides an extra amount of endless fun.
