Lady Gaga has had an incredibly successful career in the past decade, but it's in the past two years where she has truly shined.

In October 2016, the pop pioneer released her fifth studio album, "Joanne" — her first traditional pop record since 2013's "ARTPOP." From the album spawned three singles and four music videos, along with a 2017-2018 world tour that grossed $95 million. That same year, the singer performed the National Anthem at Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, California and in February 2017, Gaga took her diamond go-go boots to the halftime stage at Super Bowl LI in Houston, Texas. The "Bad Romance" singer also headlined Coachella in 2017 and released her Netflix documentary "Gaga: Five Foot Two,"which depicts a raw, more vulnerable side to the singer as she revealed she has a chronic illness with fibromyalgia. Yet, she didn't stop there.
In between all of that, Lady Gaga also managed to take on the role of movie star when she signed on to Warner Bros' modern adaptation of "A Star Is Born."In the film, she stars alongside veteran actor Bradley Cooper, who she claims is the "one person who believed in her" throughout her entire journey of filming.
It's no surprise that Gaga has been killing it ahead of the anticipated release of her silver screen debut. The remake of the Judy Garland (1954) and Barbra Streisand (1976) classic also serves as Cooper's directorial debut.
The two stars have been promoting ASIB incessantly; the film premiered at both the Venice and Toronto Film Festivals, where Gaga rightfully received a standing ovation for her performance.
The pair has also conducted several interviews worldwide. A few appearances include The Ellen Show, The Graham Norton Show, MTV News, Fandango Exclusive, and Entertainment Weekly. The lead single for the film, "Shallow," is featured in the trailer and became available for purchase on September 28, 2018, just one week before the official release of the full soundtrack and film.
Gaga has grown as an artist through all mediums and is well on her way to becoming an EGOT recipient. She's racked up six Grammy awards over the years and has won a Golden Globe for her role as the Countess in FX's "American Horror Story: Hotel." In 2016, she snagged an Academy Award nomination for her single "Til it Happens to You" for the documentary "The Hunting Ground" but lost to Sam Smith's Bond theme, "Writing's on the Wall."There is 2019 Oscar buzz surrounding her role in A Star Is Born, but we can only hope from here on out. It's also known that the singer has a background in musical theater, so a Tony could also be in the books for Gaga.
"A Star Is Born," certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with a score of 91%, hit theaters Friday, October 5. The accompanying soundtrack is also available now.
