I hate summer clothes. I hate that everything rides up, or you need to do something with your bra just to hide the straps. I'm sure some of you are thinking, "Then don't wear a bra." Sorry, but I will never be that girl. I will always wear a bra unless there is some type of padding in the shirt.
I'm also the type of girl that likes to have everything covered. I am not a fan of crop tops at all, nor am I a fan of shorts that have my buttcheeks hang out of them. You'll probably catch me in capris and a t-shirt this summer, and there is nothing wrong with that.
I constantly see girls all over social media not wearing shirts and just have pasties over their nipples, or they are just wearing a bra. Hate to break it to you, but that's not a shirt, and it's not appropriate for social media.
Employers are looking at social media more and more these days. They're looking at what you're posting, liking, sharing, etc. I'm sure the last thing employers want to see are your boobs all over your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or whatever social media site you're sharing it on.
Your family also sees these pictures even if they're "private." It's the internet-nothing is private. Anyway, if I were a parent, the last thing I would want to see is my child's breasts all over the internet.
I can't even begin to imagine the type of attention and messages the girls who post almost naked pictures get. I can't even begin to fathom why you would even want that type of attention anyway. I would much rather want to catch someone's attention because of my face instead of my body. I don't want to feel like I constantly have to be naked in order to impress them or keep them around.
If you are confident enough to post pictures like that, all the power to you, but I will never be that girl. You won't even see my post a picture of myself in a bathing suit because that's just not who I am. It is your life and your choice to post whatever you want, but think about what you're doing before you post it. Think about who you want to see that picture, and remember there is nothing wrong with covering up. Sometimes that is even sexier.
