Fall is a time of season where you’ll be able to dress both comfortable and stylish. Do you admire simplicity and modesty? Not sure if one clothing material goes well with another material?

Below you’ll see some sample fall styles that I’ve rocked last year and this year.

Leggings pair well with a long sweater shirt. Top it off with a scarf of any size (mine was really large so I’ve folded it in halves and wrapped it around my neck). Wear a nice boot of your choice.

Hint: The perfect way to know if your boot will match your outfit is to see if the color of it matches your top (in my case, not only did my sweater match the color of the boot, but my leggings had a few notes of beige in the print as well).

From this point on, you’ll be ready to go with a nice leather or fleece jacket. I’ve added a black Messer hat and it paired up well!

Lipstick? If you like lipstick, add a touch of classic fall colors like a dark red wine or burgundy for an extra fab look!

Leopard prints can be tricky but there are ways to create a simple style while using this type of pattern! Since my leopard skirt had a touch of yellow on it, I wore a not-so-bright yellow shirt and wore a dark brown sweater on top. The sweater featured warm colors such as brown, burgundy, beige and yellow. The leopard skirt was a mixture of brown, yellow and beige; the combinations made it possible to pair the skirt with a yellow shirt and a multi-colored sweater.

For the shoes, you can’t go wrong with anything in a black or brown.

Jacket vests give you an edgy look and because they are a simple staple, adding them to nearly any style can help you switch it up a bit.

Above, I have a lion, image-faded sweater and olive green pants. The brown and black of the sweater goes well with the green because of they are warm colors. From there, your outfit is complete and adding in the right colored shoes (I’ve matched it with some brown boots), you’re ready to go.

Adding on a jacket vest gives you a nice style and keeps you warm around the areas it covers you. You can’t go wrong with a black colored vest, it goes with nearly everything!

Fall is a great time to mix and match clothing with different colors, styles and textures. There’s always a way to create simple styles out of nearly everything.

Well groomed hair and a clean face plays a HUGE role in your appearance. No matter what look you're trying to achieve, your hair and face will effect your entire look.

As for accessories, accessorize! This includes anything from a scarf, jewelry, glasses, belts, bags, etc. A great tip on knowing what to include is to look at the color(s) of your top and go from there.

Leggings recently became a common material because there are so many different ways you can style them; wear them with dresses, skirts, long shirts/sweaters, etc.

Looking at fashion in a different perspective than others is what enables me to create my own style. Modesty is what I strive for in all that I do; while looking great and comfortable is my goal, so must I continue to show respect towards my body. Decide what works best for you and stay true to yourself!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
