If you haven't heard the latest gossip about the Kardashians, all you have to do is google search "Jordyn Woods." Kylie Jenner's best friend is at the center of the latest family and celebrity scandal. Jordyn has reportedly slept with Khloe Kardashian's boyfriend and baby-daddy, Tristan Thompson. Rumor has it that she has been "excommunicated" from the Kardashian family, and most importantly, nobody knows about her current standing with Kylie. While everybody is so focused on the actual scoop, I think it's important for everybody to see how Kylie is actually a great example right now for people our age.
Nowadays, it's sad to say that it isn't THAT uncommon for young adults to not be faithful to their partners, as Tristan wasn't faithful to Khloe. However, the whole situation becomes so much more personal and messy when the person he cheated on her with is her younger sister's best friend. Jordyn has been Kylie's best friend for years and they even have launched a makeup line together, which now has gone on sale (it sold out in like two days). It puts Kylie in a difficult position because Jordyn was like a sister to her. However, at the end of the day, Kylie is supporting her REAL sister Khloe through all of this. Supporting your family is something that many in my generation have lost sight of.
At the end of the day, family is all you've got. Friends are great, but family is forever. They're you're blood, and you should treat them like they are special to you, since they ARE! I cherish the bonds I have with both of my parents and all three of my siblings, and it's not like we don't fight, we definitely do. But if you can remember at the end of the day that there's a larger picture in life, you'll see that your family should be in that picture with you. The whole point of this article is that you can say what you want about Kylie Jenner and the Kardashian's lifestyle, but they always know that they have to support their family members. It's an example I am willing to follow, even if I didn't like the Kardashians.
My message to Kylie: Thank you for putting family first.
