Kylie Jenner is one of the world's most known and recognizable celebrities, partly because of her super famous family and partly for the name and brand she has created for herself. At the young age of 19, Kylie launched Kylie Cosmetic and has turned it into a multimillion dollar business for herself.

Kylie has gone through a lot to launch this business and make it successful, including getting an F from the Better Business Bureau, getting criticism for having her lip kit formula be too similar to another brands, and even have fake knock offs being sold online to her fans. It's safe to say, however, that the business is doing better then ever, thanks to her hard work.

Kylie is arguably so famous though, that she could have been selling crappy makeup and it still would sell out in under ten minutes because her name is attached to the package. So now that the initial hype has calmed down, and she has added more makeup products to the lineup -- is the products worth the hype?

I own two lip kits and a creme eyeshadow pot. I don't have tons, but I have enough to form some sort of opinion on the cosmetic line. The lip kits are matte and come with a lip pencil and liquid lipstick. I have Posie K and Koko K lip kits and rose gold eyeshadow.

The lip kits are fairly good. The one surprising thing is that the colors go on a little differently then pictured on social media, or the website. Posie K is a little more purple then I pictured, and Koko K is more nude then pink. Nevertheless, I think the formula is long lasting, even if you eat or drink while wearing it.

My only complaint for the whole lip kit is the lip liner. It's a little hard to sharpen, and to be honest it's very hard to remove if you don't have a steady hand. Most times, I don't even use the lip liner. The colors stand out, without the liner. The lipstick does exactly what it is supposed to do.

The creme eyeshadow, however, is leaps and bounds better then the lip kits, in my opinion. I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I do, but it's a good quality makeup product. The color is super pigmented and goes on very smooth and creamy. Some creme eyeshadow tends to fade away throughout the night, while this one stays on all night and doesn't crease.

Is the makeup worth the price tag? At $30 for the lip kits....I'm not sure. You can get a similar product for less then half the price tag from brands like Colourpop. The eye shadow pot, however, was totally worth the price tag of $20. I use it every time I got out, and I'm not looking forward to the day I run out of it.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs.
