For this week, I am continuing my Series which was inspired by Soap Operas and It was done as an homage and paying tribute to all the great ones like General Hospital, All My Children and The Young and The Restless. Here is Part 8. I hope you enjoy!

Kolby Klein went back to her Condominium and got ready to enjoy her rest after coming back from seeing Carl.

As she began getting herself ready for bed. She looked at the dress that was in the closet.

Oh! I know Carl and I will soon be married.

I can’t wait to become his wife and wear my beautiful dress.

Her condo was so quiet the only sound was a small clock in her kitchen which played harmonic sounds which Kolby enjoyed. Her house was very expensive with all the highest quality kitchen appliances and a unique bar to entertain guests whenever she hosted a party.

After coming back from Carl’s she was exhausted. He had a big meeting in the morning so she decided to come back to her own sanctuary to rest. After making herself some cocoa. She lay back down in her bed. Kolby needed to rest.

I just need five minutes to just relax…

Later on, Kolby began pacing back and forth.

Kolby could hear her parents getting anxious as they were escorting her out the door to her own wedding.

Oh my goodness it is happening now.

Carl and I are really getting married.

Just then she heard the sound of her bridesmaids calling out to her.

“Kolby, we need to get you ready!”

Wow, everyone is really stepping it up today.

Suddenly, she began to get emotional. Her hands began shaking.

I have waited for this day for a long time now,

I can't wait to be Carl’s wife.

Kolby could see all of her friends and family gather around.

She began to get impatient as her maid of honor fixed up her hair and makeup.

“Kolby you are a true beauty.”

“Thank you so much.”

I am so happy!

I never thought this would be happening.

Kolby knew it was time. She knew it would not be long now.

It won’t be long now.

She smiled while trying to contain her tears.

I have to stay calm.

I know all is going to be okay now.

I knew Carl would understand.

The music was now playing. She began walking down the aisle. Everyone in the crowd smiled at her. Kolby began to get more and more excited.

She glared at Carl who seemed to blur right before her eyes.

Kolby began to squint her eyes.

What is going on?

What is happening?

Why can’t I see Carl?

“Come on Kolby! Really?“

“James, what are you doing here?“

“Look, Kolby why would Karl Marry you?”

“He loves me!”

“Damn, you are delusional!”

”Shut up, James!”

Kolby then noticed how everyone had disappeared and she was all alone. The only one who was still standing was James.

“Wait, where is everyone?”

“Gone!”

“No, I saw everybody. It was my wedding day!”

“Kolby, it was only a dream!”

“What?”

“Come on we both know the baby you are carrying isn’t Carl’s!”

“Shut up James!”

“You know I am right!”

“Stop this! James, just go away!”

Just then Kolby jumped up and then realized It was a bad dream.

What a terrible dream.

She then grabbed her stomach.

No one will ever know the truth.

Carl and I will be together.

Then she decided to watch some television before going back to bed again.

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Syllabus Week As Told By Kourtney Kardashian

Feeling Lost During Syllabus Week? You're Not Alone!

Kourtney Kardashian

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Blair Waldorf
Stop Hollywood

For those of you who have watched "Gossip Girl" before (and maybe more than just once), you know how important of a character Blair Waldorf is. Without Blair, the show doesn’t have any substance, scheme, or drama. Although the beginning of the show started off with Blair’s best friend Serena returning from boarding school, there just simply is no plot without Blair. With that being said, Blair’s presence in the show in much more complex than that. Her independent and go-getter ways have set an example for "Gossip Girl" fans since the show started and has not ended even years after the show ended. Blair never needed another person to define who she was and she certainly didn’t need a man to do that for her. When she envisioned a goal, she sought after it, and took it. This is why Blair’s demeanor encompasses strong women like her.
