According to TMZ, Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna Maria Bryant, have died in a helicopter crash over Calabasas, California.

Kobe leaves behind a robust legacy of winning and accomplishment. Kobe and Gianna Maria are survived by his wife and three daughters, mom and three sisters. He inspired millions of people and every NBA player in a timeless way. The world will remember Kobe as a champion and one of the greatest to ever play basketball and will miss him dearly.

Many of Kobe's former teammates, opponents, and coaches are mourning this huge loss.
