1. You have a gun for each person who lives in your household.

2. You arrange your whole schedule around football.

3. Southern Mama is your mom's idol.

4. You know Southern Mama is actually a man.

5. Your weatherman is also your local celebrity.

6. You've experienced four seasons in one day.

7. You can't tell the difference between gunshots and fireworks on the 4th of July.

8. You have to clarify that we don't actually date our cousins....At least, most of us don't.

9. It's a sin to hate football.

10. Hair and heels are like the tires on our trucks.... HUGE

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area.
