If you're not a communication major, you probably think it's easy. But if you're not a communication major, you're definitely not having fun academically. Communication majors are able to analyze television ads and commercial for homework, spend class periods watching Parks and Recreation, and spend countless hours on Photoshop projects all while enjoying it. Communication majors really have the best of both worlds. Here are 20 times you'll realize (if you have not already) that you are definitely a communication major.

1. You're always on your A-game when it comes to social media.

Like knowing the best times to post on Insta.

2. You typically write essays on TV shows, music videos, song lyrics, and commercials which makes life a little easier.

Beyoncé performances, song lyrics from '80s songs, and episodes of "The Office."

3. You're class periods are spent watching those TV shows, music videos, and commercials.

4. You're a news junkie at heart.

Your heart is happy whenever you see your articles published online or in print, but you're also super into it when breaking news pops up on your phone's screen.

5. You would much rather just write an essay than take an exam.

What's five pages anyway? Piece o' cake.

6. You have a list of comebacks for those who tell you majoring in Communication Studies is too easy.

It's actually not. We have homework, projects, assignments, and papers just like you.

7. Numbers just aren't your thing.

F in Calculus. We like words.

8. And science isn't either.

Eh.

9. Your final "exams" are actually final projects and hands-on assignments.

Like making posters on Photoshop or presenting an important and big case study.

10. You get tired of correcting people that it's Communication, not Communications.

Bachelor of Arts in Communication. No "S."

11. You know how to cite sources like the back of your hand.

Easy peasy.

12. Your essays are usually made into blog posts.

Great for portfolios!

13. You thoroughly enjoy talking to people because you know firsthand that relationships and networking are the keys to your very own success.

Knowing the right type of people and being places at the right time is your speciality.

14. You're passionate about getting where you want to be.

Whether it's working at a large newspaper or becoming a sports broadcaster, you know what it takes to get there and you're determined as ever.

14. You've probably had 1 or 2 ... or 3 internships.

Your advisor is always making sure you know just how important this is.

15. You are a master at researching that comes in all forms: research projects, social media stalking, etc.

Research papers are your best friend.

16. You've had some of the most amazing professors.

And they have given you some of the best advice.

17. You most likely have one million and one articles ready for your portfolio.

Links, links and more links.

18. You find yourself studying print and media advertisements more carefully than you ever would have thought.

"I wonder why they chose that color ..."

19. You can't decide for your life if you want to work in social media marketing, journalism, broadcasting, public relations, etc.

You decide on doing them all.

20. You know there isn't any other program out there that's better for you.

It feels like home.

Friendship. It's defined as the state of being attached to another person by feelings of affection or personal regard, but what really is friendship? Is it that occasional hallway talk with that one person who always manages to cheer you up? Is it that relationship you have with someone where they can be gone for a long period of time, but when they come back, it's like they never left? Is it spending every waking hour with someone, and knowing every detail about their life? Is it the relationship that's filled with fighting, but filled with even more resolution? I've learned that it's all of these things, and every friendship is different. It's a beautifully dysfunctional mess that should always be cherished and never be taken for granted.
