“Beauty is not flawless; it shines even through your flaws…” — Unknown

You may not know it, but you are so beautiful. Inside and out, you radiate a true beauty that cannot be matched, or even compared to anyone else. The way you smile, the way you treat those around you, everything you do is done with such grace and beauty. The people around you see it, yet you never seem to.

You always worry about your flaws, or what others will think of you. You look in the mirror, and are displeased at what you see; you cover your face in makeup, afraid your natural self won’t be perfect enough. But you don’t need to. You are perfect. I see it, and I know everyone else does as well. You are so beautiful. I see your beauty, and I want you to see it as well.

Every time I see how you treat others or help someone when they are down, your beauty radiates like the brightest diamond. I see it. I see your beauty every time you smile, every time you do something totally, completely YOU. You are amazing.

You are one of the most beautiful people I know. I want you to see it as well. I appreciate every single unique thing about you. All of these little things add up to the amazing you — the person I love. The person I admire. The person who always makes me happy. I love you, I love all your flaws. I hope someday you will love those flaws too.

“Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart.” — Kahlil Gibran

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
