Over Columbus Day weekend, I visited New York City, and it is by far my favorite place to be! It is always so energetic and lively, and you're never going to be bored. Walking between the abnormally tall and architectural buildings really gives you the feel of how it is to live in the city. I toured the city, and saw so many amazing things. Below are five that I highly recommend visiting if you're ever in NY!
1. Central Park
Central Park is the closest to country you're going to get in NYC. Being in the trees, on brick pathways and stone bridges, near fountains makes you feel like you're not even New York. It's beautiful!
2. St. Patrick's Cathedral
Entering St. Patrick's Cathedral took my breath away. The glass windows are so intricately stained and the organ in the back is beautiful. Definitely an amazing place to go, especially if you're Catholic!
3. Times Square
If you are looking for a lot of energy, entertainment, and people, Times Square is the place to be! You are surrounded in bright billboards for things like M&M and Coca-Cola.
4. Rockefeller Center
"Let's go watch the ice-skaters!", my mom said on October 10th. Rockefeller Center has an all-year round skating rink! Along with the very detailed architecture and Christmas lights around the trees, Rockefeller is beautiful.
5. Lenwich Sandwhiches
There are 19 Lenhich Sandwhiches locations in New York City. I had a poppy seed bagel with vegetable cream cheese, and I can tell you that I've never tasted a bagel that fresh before!
