Get to Know Us: Stephen Slack

My name is Stephen Slack, and I am 20 years old. I just recently transferred from Georgia Southern University to Kennesaw Sate University. I just started writing for this site, and feel like everyone reads this site for the “list” posts. So, in order for you to get to know me, I’m going to make this article a list of 26 facts about myself. Sound good? Awesome.

  1. Born in New Jersey back in '94.
  2. I played soccer my entire life.

  16. My money spent on fishing gear is more than what most girls spend on shoes.
  17. I will sing every song from Garth Brooks to Gucci in my truck, loud and off key, when it’s just Bogey and me. Or other people, really.
  18. I post more Doug the Pug to my Facebook then anything else.

If I have learned one thing in my lifetime, it is that friends are a privilege. No one is required to give you their company and yet there is some sort of shared connection that keeps you together. When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September.
