Your roommate is someone who you spend a lot of time with, whether you want to or not. They can be random or requested, long term or short term, and sometimes you have more than one. Chances are you either have had a terrible roommate situation or know someone else who has. However, there are a few lucky people in this world who have experienced a roommate that doubled as their best friend.

1. You start to talk alike

You start to catch yourself saying something that you know you got from them.

2. Their clothing is your clothing

It's gotten to the point where you just stopped asking.

3. You know each other's families

You've been to their house for dinners, parties, and breaks and over the time you've grown to love them all.

4. You could probably write a biography about them

After many late night venting sessions you know basically everything about them, whether you want to or not.

5. They are always your plus one

After you get invited somewhere you always ask "can I bring my roommate?"

6. You’ve made their lunch

And breakfast, and dinner, sometimes snacks

7. You split everything

Groceries, gas, food you name it. You also don't mind picking up the tab for both of you because you know there will be tons of chances for them to pay you back.

8. Your friend groups converge

9. People comment on how you guys are always together

10. You are always on the same page

Whether you want a night on the couch watching Netflix or to get dressed up and go out they are always down for either

11. You’ve seen each other cry...a lot

You are there for all the highs and the lows.

12. You’ve day dreamed about living together outside of college

13. You can read them like a book

You can tell by looking at them if they are happy, mad, annoyed, angry, or maybe just hungry.

14. You feel weird at home without them

“Hey, can you come home I’m bored”

15. You probably have an impressive snap streak

16.You know their phone and probably computer password

If it takes more than 5 seconds to find yours you just use theirs.

17. You catch yourselves sounding like a married couple

This includes bickering.

18. You know they will be honest with you

Whether it's just an opinion on your outfit or a major life decision you know you can always count on your roomie.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
