Those of you who know me, I am a HUGE Disney fan and for those of you who REALLY know me, I live and breathe Marvel movies! It's a pretty safe bet that once Avengers: Infinity War tickets went on sale, I was first in the virtual line! Now when this article publishes, the movie would have already been viewed by millions of you guys, including myself. However, for those of you who didn't make it to opening weekend or maybe you're a casual fan excited for a cool superhero flick, let me set the tone for you! It would make your superhero experience that much SUPER!

1. The Avengers are broken up.

Something so different that I didn't expect Marvel to do was break up their biggest team franchise right before their biggest battle ever. I mean the world is at stake, and where are Earth's mightiest heroes? In Captain America: Civil War (a must watch for Infinity War), the Avengers disagree on the Accords, and through a series of events, they call time out. Half of the Avengers are in hiding, while the others are....living their best lives? Still saving lives? It's kind of hard to say since there is no clear chain of command anymore!

2. Thanos - The biggest and baddest villain

Thanos has been teased for awhile, pretty much since the MCU first started. He is a huge warlord of a now extinct planet called Titan. His main goal: to collect all 6 infinity stones and bring the universe back into balance, which unfortunately for our heroes means exterminating the human race. He has two huge alien armies as well as allies that we have seen on the big screen before. Looks like the odds are stacked up against us.

3. Infinity Stones

There are 6 Infinity stones scattered around the universe that hold immense power. They are reality, power, soul, mind, time, and space. They have been the highlights of story lines since the first Iron Man movie in 2008. Once Thanos gets his hands on all 6, he can warp reality and everything with it in any way, shape, or form. One other thing: the mind stone is currently in the head of one of our Avengers teammates; Vision. This could be bad news for him.

4. Soul Stone Location

If you go back and watch each movie, you'll see that 5/6 stones are either with the Asgardians, The Guardians of the Galaxy's Nova Corps, or with the Avengers themselves. The soul stone is the only one where its location is unknown to both the Avengers, Thanos, and the audience. Theories are pointing to Black Panther, and his home nation of Wakanda. I personally think it could be with Captain Marvel, wherever she falls into this story.

5. The end is near.

It has been said for a long time that this movie will change not only the Marvel Cinematic Universe's path for a lifetime, but even change what can be done in the superhero genre. I'm not saying Infinity War is the end all, be all of superhero movies (I still haven't seen it yet as I'm writing this), but man, it may get pretty close. First reviews of the movie keep saying to go in knowing nothing, and expect the unexpected, which as a person clinging to her favorite characters to survive, this is terrifying! The team may get back together, they may not.

The Avengers may lose prominent members of the team (Cap please don't leave me!), OR for all we know, the movie will completely suck and be over hyped (I highly doubt it!). The only thing for sure is that everything will change.

Without spoiling anything because I literally know nothing, I hope I can shed some light on what the actual heck is going down in this movie. It's going to be a huge combination of story lines that have been going for years, character arcs coming to a close, and if you're a super fan like me....WE ARE NOT READY!

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

We've all been there. From move-in day to the first finals week in college, your first term is an adventure from start to finish. In honor of college decisions coming out recently, I want to recap some of the most common experiences college freshmen experience.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!

Recently I completed my freshman year of college, and boy, what an experience. It was a completely new learning environment and I can't believe how much I learned. In an effort to save time, here are the ten biggest lessons I learned from my first year of college.

1. Everyone is in the same boat

For me, the scariest part of starting school was that I was alone, that I wouldn't be able to make any friends and that I would stick out. Despite being told time and time again that everyone had these same feelings, it didn't really click until the first day when I saw all the other freshman looking as uneasy and uncomfortable as me. Therefore, I cannot stress this enough, everyone is feeling as nervous as you.
