Part 3 of the inventions.
This time it's in the kitchen, which means food related items for all my fellow foodies out there. This is going to be the last part of the series of articles about inventions that I've found, so why not end on a tasty note.
Many of these gadgets that I'll be showing are great for student life as well as every day life. Some of these may be a bit pricey as well, but hey, Christmas is coming for those that need ideas on what to ask for.
Kuvée
For those that like to drink wine, this is just for you. The Kuvée is a smart bottle that allows the user to keep wine cartridges fresh for up to 30 days. The cartridges have an RFID tag built into the caps, so that when they’re inserted into the smart bottle, a touch screen appears showing the information about the winemakers, and details about the wine that is in the bottle. You can also order more wine using the onscreen store as well as view what wines you’ve already tried.
Edible Cutlery
These spoons are made out of only wheat, rice, and sorghum. In order to be able to reach a larger population for use, they are also fully vegan, preservative free, trans fat free and dairy free. These were first released in India and have sold 1.5 million in hopes of combating plastic waste. They come in a variety of flavors including ginger-cinnamon, black pepper, mint-ginger, sugar, and celery to name a few. So next time your wanting to go on a picnic or camping maybe take a couple of these instead of plastic.
CinniBird
This little bird allows you to add any spice you want and decorate with it. Add a little something special to your latte in any shape you want. Or a little garnish on your dish that you are making with some parsley. This allows you to practice your art with food.
I Could Eat A T-Rex
When making spaghetti it can be a little difficult to eyeball how much you need. With this gadget it allows you to gauge how much you need for a child, adult or a T-Rex which happens to be for 3 to 4 people. No more guessing now!
Table Tap
This brings a new idea for serving water during a dinner. No one needs to get up, lift, and pour a heavy glass of water nor do guests need to get up and go to a fridge or sink. This allows you or guest to simply pump the water up to fill a glass.
Tabletop Fireplace
Though this doesn't add to any foodie ideals, it does set the mood in any room, including the kitchen. This little fireplace gives off only water vapor and carbon dioxide, making it clean burning and only runs on recycled liquid ethanol fuel. It's perfect for heating up a small space. 325' sq. area, for up to 5 hours.
