Quentin Tarantino says he’s retiring after his next two films! So, that means one of those films has to be the third installment of the “Kill Bill” series, right? Or at least that’s what the fans are hoping for.
When news of Tarantino’s retirement hit the internet, Twitter lit up with tweets about how the Iconic filmmaker will be missed and what his last films should rightfully be. Most of the suggestion being “Kill Bill: Vol. 3” or “Deadpool 2.”
“The idea of Tarantino being done after 10 films is heartbreaking :/” - @curtmega on Twitter
“Sounds like Tarantino is planning to shoot deadpool 2 and 3 back to back!” - @CarterNixon on Twitter
“One of Quentin Tarantino’s final films had better be Kill Bill 3.” - @siennathree on Twitter
I think we can all agree that it’s sad to see him go, but at least he’s leaving us with a collection of great work. His films are as innovative as they are entertaining. Whatever Mr. Tarantino decided to do for his last two movies is up to him, although the fans are begging for a “Kill Bill: Vol. 3.” The best part is, we might actually be getting what we want.
Tarantino has never ruled out making another film about Beatrix Kiddo/ The Bride, expressing in an interview that, “There definitely is a possibility… stop short of saying a probability. But there could be. For one reason, in particular… Uma and me would have a really good time working together again. I put the character of Beatrix Kiddo through a lot and I wanted [Kiddo] to have this much time for peace.”
The film already has an Imdb page, but it does not say whether or not it’s in pre-production at the moment. Sadly, there’s little to no facts about “Kill Bill: Vol. 3” becoming a reality for sure. But if you do a little internet searching, you’ll find a sea of rumors that’ll get you excited about the possibility.
It is rumored that. . .
1. Both Tarantino and Uma Thurman are going to be working on the script together.
2. The plot could be centered around Nikki, the daughter of Vivica Fox’s character, Vernita Green, getting her revenge on Uma Thurman’s character, The Bride.
3. The original characters might make an appearance one last time in a flashback.
4. Bill might not be dead.
5. Sofie Fatale, the woman whose life was speared by The Bride, after she cut her arm off, will have raised Nikki and inherited all of Bill money.
These possibilities are enough to make for an explosive third film! Hopefully some of theses rumors are actually true.
What do you think the premise of “Kill Bill Vol. 3” could be?
Should we let people know "Deadpool 2" already has a director and is in pre-production?
Are you going to miss Quentin Tarantino as much as you want to know what his next two films are going to be?
