6 Things That You Really Wanted To Find In Your Lunch As A Kid

Lunch was the second best thing in middle school, first is obviously recess. If you brought lunch from home, you always hoped that your mom or dad or whoever you live with would put some good stuff in your lunch. There were always some gems that you would love to see when you opened up that lunch bag. These are just a few of them.

1. Scooby Snacks-

If you saw these in your lunch you knew it was going to be a great day. Personally, the green was my favorite because they were the biggest. These fruit snacks can make your day no matter what your age. They just are the best.

2. Lunchables-

When you were younger, you wanted a meal that was hands on that you could make yourself. The pizza Lunchable will always be my favorite, I know many people will argue that, but bottom line, in general, Lunchables were a gem.

3. Sunny D-

Nothing like a great sugar rush before or after your recess depending when you had it. Don't worry though, you are still getting a great serving of your daily vitamin D. It really just tastes good that's all we cared about.

4. Chips Ahoy-

Chips ahoy were always a great surprise. You could always go get a carton of milk from the school, open it up in the square form, and be able to dip your full cookie in the milk. Nothing beats that.

5. Cracker and Cheese Spread

The famous cheese and cracker sticks. This was usually pulled out around snack time instead of lunch because it was such an easy thing to eat. The problem was always trying to get the right amount of cheese per cracker so that you ended up with no crackers and no cheese in the end.

6. Snack Pack-

You better hope that a spoon was packed as well or eating these was such a struggle.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
