The Key To Bettering One's Life

The light at the end of the tunnel.

The Key To Bettering One's Life

Hope.

A word that goes beyond its meaning and something that lives inside every single person.

It helps the world go round and is the reason people continue to get up every morning.

We do not know what our future consists of, so God created hope.

There is no such thing as a perfect world. Things go wrong and fear can sometimes take over us.

There are times when all there is left to do is to put your trust in God and your hope in the universe.

Sometimes, the outcome we hope for does not go our way, but we continue to keep that hope.

Life has its ups and downs, and that is how it goes, but there is more to life than what we can see.

We were taught that faith, hope, and love are the keys to a good life.

It does not matter if one believes in God or not -- hope is something that everyone takes part in.

The world is a scary place where scary things can happen.

If one does not pray for a better world, then we know that they are hoping for one.

And the world does not have to be a scary place.

People, a lot of times, find themselves in a dark place and the only thing that keeps them going is that light at the end of the tunnel - hope.

The word itself gets thrown around a lot, but it all comes down to how optimistic we are about it.

You hear it said in songs and sometimes even meet people who share the name.

Before a big test, you hope for the best because that is all one can do at the time.

It is a state of mind in hopes of a positive outcome to occur.

We not only can hold hope for ourselves, but we can also give it to others as well.

It has become something that is said multiple times a day without even knowing it was said.

Hope has the ability to keep people on their toes and to live with an open mind.

Not many things can do that to a person and that is why hope is so powerful.

When people who care for one another come together, hope is strengthened because of their bond.

Along with hope, of course, faith and love are two very important things to have as well,

But, sometimes all we are left with is hope.

Hope helps us to envision our future and motivates us to take the steps to make it great.

At the end of the day, hope can provide us with the key to making life that much better.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
