A major component that surrounds Kappa Delta sorority is confidence. Every aspect of their philanthropy is focused around confidence and they encourage each member to find confidence somewhere, even if it is in the smallest of places.
Confidence week is special in that it is subtle but still allows a very underrated characteristic to be noticed in the littlest of ways. From trashing insecurities to realizing that there are things that keep all of us going with smiles on our faces enhances Kappa Delta's goal of promoting confidence in everybody.
The goal is not to see what qualities make a confident person, but to allow a person to see what brings them happiness. We are all different people, and what makes us happy or allows us to keep moving forward varies from person to person. Kappa Delta wishes for everyone to notice that.
So many people see so many things and try to "Keep up with the Jones'" that it is becoming harder to see good in small places or little things that make you say, "I don't care, I love this the way it is." I love the idea that little things that can brighten people's day.
Why do people not have confidence anymore? Pictures destroy our image of what lives actually look like, people roast each other daily, and some people just feel lonely or angry.
Guys, that isn't good. Especially in college. Classes are harder, sleep is gone, and morale is low. We should be bringing each other up.
