The world of Kesha Rose Sebert is far from normal, and her music is pure genius. Nonetheless, she's the Pop Supernova of the decade, like I even need to remind you that. While her songs "Tik Tok," "Die Young," "We R Who We R," "Your Love is My Drug," and more have spent copious amounts of time on the Billboard Top 100, she has countless songs that are so unappreciated. All of her songs are pure gold, but there are ten songs specifically that should be popularized:
10. "Kiss 'n' Tell*" - "Animal" (2009)
This song should just be a reminder to boys to keep their junk in their pants, because your boyfriend/girlfriend will always find everything out.
9. "Hungover" - "Animal" (2009)
Who hasn't cried about someone while drunk/hungover? This song is every Friday night all in one song to remind yourself that everyone goes through this, whether they drank or not.
8. "Crazy Beautiful Life" - "Cannibal" (2010)
Kesha is the pop party queen, so why not just write a song about her life? Friday nights are all about making up for the week with copious amounts of alcohol and/or friends "and waking up on a different couch."
7. "Out Alive" - "Warrior" (2012)
I honestly don't know why this wasn't a single. The beat is up there, and the lyrics are elevated to another level with teenage angst. Perfect combination for road-trip tunes.
6. "Timber" feat. Kesha - [Pitbull] "Global Warming: Meltdown" (2013)
I've never been to The Banque, but this sounds like it would be the perfect for that environment. Nashville's pop party queen has a country twang in this hit single by Pitbull. The music video for this song is clutch as well.
5. "F**k Him He's a DJ*" - "I Am The Dance Commander + I Command You To Dance: The Remixes" (2011)
The song is bouncy and would have been a great club hit. Damn Kesha, back at it again with another almost hit. To be honest, they could have at least made a radio edit of the song because this song boosts my energy.
4. "Warrior*" - "Warrior" (2012)
Kesha stands for unity and human/animal rights and fights for love and peace, so this song is for those who are less popular to show that people are all together supposed to be loved and appreciated.
3. "Thinking of You*" - "Warrior" (2012)
Hurt and/or mad over your significant other who just left you? Listen to this song. You can be hurt and mad at the same time, and it's perfectly okay.
2. "The Harold Song" - "Animal" (2009)
As mentioned earlier in this article, Harold was Kesha's first love and they went separate ways. Your first love hurts the most, and Kesha was destroyed by him, but look at her now. She's the pop party queen of the century ... you'll do okay.
1. "Last Goodbye" - "Warrior" (2012)
Another song about Harold, but two years later after she saw him while she was in town. I know this because I actually watched "Kesha's Crazy Beautiful Life" on MTV. This song hits me on so many levels because it's speaks so true to love. Nobody likes on again off again relationships, they're no fun. She came to the realization that she needed to live without Harold, and this song was her release, so to speak. The vocals on this track? Amazing. The emotions she went through while writing this song? Breathtaking. This song is so raw and un-fabricated it tears me up inside.
