I want to start this article by pointing out that Kendall Jenner and I are the same age. To be specific, I’m actually about a month and a half older than her.
That’s annoying.
So far my weeks accomplishments have included showing up to work at the exact time I was scheduled to be there, ordering lettuce wrapped sushi even though I really wanted rice, and not spilling coffee on my white shirt yesterday.
That’s all been pretty cool.
Kendall Jenner’s accomplishments this week have been attending a Target style party with Joan Small, hosting a Kendall and Kylie pop-up in NYC, and debuting her ninth Vogue cover for Vogue Australia.
NINTH. You read that right.
Kendall Jenner has been on nine Vogue covers in the last two years.
I’d say thats a pretty good ratio.
I’m not saying I’m bitter that I wasn’t born Kendall Jenner, but if I woke up tomorrow and had my face on the cover of Vogue, my girl squad was among America’s most coveted, and A$AP Rocky was my boyfriend (sort of), I wouldn’t be mad.
To commemorate Kendall’s ninth cover, let’s take a look back at our Vogue baby over the years:
1. Vogue China, June 2015
2. Vogue Japan, August 2015
3. Vogue Japan, November 2015
4. Vogue Paris, 95th Anniversary Issue
5. Vogue Brazil, January 2016
6. Vogue Special Edition Kendall Jenner Issue
She got her own personal issue, she did that.
7. American Vogue, September 2016
8. Vogue Japan, October 2016
9. Vogue Australia
Two different Vogue covers in the same month. Nine covers in two years. Alright Kenny, we get it, you win.
