Kehlani is one of my favorite artists. I love listening to contemporary R&B artists on Spotify, and she is definitely at the of my list. I was so ready for this album to come out, but the wait was worth it. Kehlani never disappoints. These are my favorite songs from her newest album "SweetSexySavage."

1. "Personal"

This is probably my most favorite song from the album. "Don't take it personal:" a common phrase that people say. Kehlani admits that she has grown up and realized that it's time to move on from her current relationship.

2. "Keep On"

This is a catchy song with an honest message behind it. Kehlani basically admits to her significant other that she has been bitchy toward him. However, he keeps taking her back every single time. He could curse her out and talk crap about her to his friends as revenge, but he doesn't. He constantly takes her back despite what she's done.

3. "In My Feelings"

This song reveals Kehlani's aggravation within her relationship, and she even questions why she is still in the relationship? She's "in her feelings," and all of these emotions and questions keep popping up and running through her mind.

4. "Undercover"

This was a single released before the album that I absolutely love and is still on repeat. The lyrics remind me of Akon's classic song "Don't matter." Kehlani doesn't care what other people say about her relationship, she is still going to be with him

5. "Distraction"

This was another single that was released last year before the album came out. In this song, Kehlani is looking for a "distraction" to keep her mind off of things. The music video for this single is great! I suggest that you go check it out!

Keep doing your thing, Kehlani! Much love!

Being a part of any organization undoubtedly comes with the pitfalls of being grouped into negative stereotypes, and sororities are certainly no exception. Here are the top few things, that I find at least, are some of the most irritating misconceptions that find their way into numerous conversations...

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.
