Everything takes time so stay calm

It can be hard going back to school, but more importantly how to stay calm. In order to stay calm for school you want to keep yourself organized for one. When you're organized it makes things a lot easier to find and hand in on time by keeping things in order, which also makes you want to have a planner or calendar so you can plan ahead for projects, tests, or exams.

Another way to stay calm is to make sure you are taking care of your health by eating a nutritional diet and getting a good amount of rest each night on the same day to day schedule. You also want to have a good time with your friends to unwind and relieve some of the stress you may have had during the past week. Sometimes we look back at semesters and we wonder how we even did it. You begin to think about all the papers, tests, exams, projects, and everything in between and then ask yourself is it worth it? Down the road it most certainly will be when you're working in the career you wanted to pursue when you first took steps in the college you attended and realize in the end it was all worth it. Once you are successful you realize everything was worth that moment you will experience and then life doesn't seem so bad after all now does it?

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
