Why Kate Spade Is Everything

There’s nothing not to love about Kate Spade, who continually designs the best items year after year. Michael Kors is a close second, but Kate Spade takes number one in my book. Classy and elegant, her items never go out of style. I am a proud collector of anything Kate Spade, and throughout the years it has become a slight obsession. I’m a huge fan of the colors of the purses, because they are so vibrant and unique to the brand. Kate Spade can be summed up in one word: whimsical. It’s fun but elegant, and will always be in style.

Something about the shades of the colors of the items just looks Kate Spade, which makes the items easy to spot from a mile away. The vibrant colors are cheery and unique, and the taglines you can find on some of the items are quirky and fun that add to the originality of the line. The freshness and boldness of the designs makes every item stand out. Not to mention the variety of fun patterns, the most popular being the trademark Kate Spade polka dots. The first Kate Spade item I purchased was a polka-dotted iPhone case, unaware how much more Kate Spade I’d be consuming in the near future. Now any TJ Maxx or department store I enter, I must find the Kate Spade section. There’s always something at the store that I haven’t seen online, which is a miracle in itself.

Fortunately, there’s such a thing called Kate Spade Surprise Sale, which is when certain items are discounted to a ridiculous price. You can find me scrolling through the surprise sales during class, because I just can’t wait. Just when I think I’ve bought my last wallet, there’s a new one next season that I all of a sudden can’t live without. Kate Spade is the reason for my wallet obsession, and I’ve come to the conclusion that you can’t ever have too many wallets. If you think about it, you need different sized wallets to go with different sized purses. For instance, I own a wallet for my Kate Spade tote, and a wallet for my smaller cross-body purses. They’re all so beautiful that it’s hard to pick just one.

The beauty is there’s something Kate Spade for everyone; the designs vary from very whimsical to very understated. Also, the quality of Kate Spade items is well worth the money. I don’t feel too bad spending over $100 on a bag because I know I will have it forever. It’s more like an investment, because I pick quality of quantity.

Going into a Kate Spade store, when given the rare opportunity, is like Christmas. Suddenly all the items online are very real. All of the colors in a Kate Spade store is flabbergasting, which adds to the fun and carefree element of the brand. Recently Kate Spade came out with a line of home furniture, which is absolutely to die for. The elegance in her handbags can be seen in this furniture, with unexpected pops of color.

Kate spade is hands-down one of the top designers in the market right now, and I will continue to obsess over her wonderful products for years to come. In the end, you can never buy too much Kate Spade.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
