QB
Marcus Mariota- QB Ten- This game is going to be a SHOOTOUT no doubt. Mariota is absolutely dominating the fantasy-PPR leagues these past few weeks, and there's no reason to believe he will stop anytime soon. Against a 28th-QB-Defense in Indianapolis... Tag Mr. Mariota in at QB1 and let the points fly. (Draftkings: $6,700- Proj.: 21.0 PTS)
RB
DeMarco Murray- RB Ten- Averaging just under 24 points-a-game, Murray is easily the RB1 for my lineup this week. Indy sports a 24th-RB-Defense at the moment which bodes well for Murray fans. Complimented with Mariota under center, Murray is as big a threat receiving as he is attacking the ground. Look for #29 to put up some monster numbers this week in the starting lineups of both PPR & STD scoring leagues. (Draftkings: $8,200- Proj.: 23.4 PTS)
RB
Isaiah Crowell- RB Cle- You have got to let go of your fantasy pride this week and start this man!! The Steelers travel to Cleveland sporting a 31st-RB-Defense. All the while, the Browns have an awful attack through the air...this creates a match made in heaven for a Cleveland RB that will be pretty much the Browns' only offensive option. He's your RB2! (Draftkings: $3,900- Proj.: 13.6 PTS)
WR
Mike Evans- WR TB- I don't think this pick will require much explaining to be honest... Evans' is averaging right at 22 points-a-game coupled with an outstanding YAC percentage. The Kansas City secondary is one of the worst in the league no-less, and Evans' is primed and ready for a savage outing after last weeks minimal 10-point outing. The data speaks for itself... Winston literally refuses to throw to any of his other receivers... start Evans and you'll be starting the entire TB receiving corps all in one pick. (Draftkings: $8,100- Proj.: 21.8 PTS)
WR
Rishard Mathews- WR Ten- Tennessee's unsung hero has come out of the woodwork in recent weeks. Just like Mariota is showing no signs of stopping, Mathews' will continue the receiving prowess against a very subpar Indy secondary. As I said before... this game is going to be a shootout. This is the game that makes pairing teammates 100% necessary. (Draftkings: $5,100- Proj.: 12.0 PTS)
WR
Tyreek Hill- WR KC- This Kansas City wideout has proven over and over again that he is the only wideout worth paying any mind to in Kansas City... Kelce who was a consistent top tier TE last season, has been very quiet this season for that very reason. Alex Smith is not playing worth a plug-nickel as of late and Mathews is his only claim-to-fame in the air and down field. Against a 28th ranked secondary down in Tampa... Mr. Tyreek Hill will continue to shine PPR style. (Draftkings: $4,500- Proj.: 10.4 PTS)
TE
Delanie Walker- TE Ten- If you have been keeping track of PPR studs as of late, then you knew exactly where I was going with this position. Don't tell me I didn't warn you... Tennessee vs. Indianapolis is going to be an absolute, 100%, beyond any reasonable doubt: SHOOTOUT!!! Mariota LOVES tossing the pigskin to his TE and Walker's PPR stats reflect as such. Rest assured that a very consistent duo in Mariota and Walker, will tear up the 29th ranked Indy TE opposition. (Draftkings: $5,700- Proj.: 14.7 PTS)
FLEX
Eli Rogers- WR Pit- As you may have guessed, Rogers' is my sleeper pick for the week. Cleveland is very sneaky out in the secondary having their one and only shining star: Joe Haden. Just as we saw with Baltimore WR Mike Wallace having been limited by the Joe Haden show while Steve Smith Sr. prospered; look to see a strong Eli Rogers showing while Antonio Brown and Joe Haden have their regularly scheduled play-date. Watch out PPR formats... Eli Rogers will have a game. (Draftkings: $4,300- Proj.:11.0 PTS)
DST
New York Giants- Defense/ Special Teams- Given the risk in utilizing a QB-WR-TE combo, you'll need to ensure you can count on some guaranteed points from a DST. This means you play it safe and start the Giants. Not only is Collins' absolutely dominating the Defensive stat boards this season, but they are matched up against Chicago... Come on... This means that even if David Carr shows up in an Eli Manning costume on Sunday crippling the Giant Offensive attack... Chicago will not score more than 10 points regardless, and that is just a fact. Cutler will throw at least one or two interceptions coupled with 3-4 sacks. Plus you can count on a fumble from either Meredith, Howard, or both... Start the Giants Defense and you guarantee a rare insurance-DST. (Draftkings: $3,500- Proj.: 6.6 PTS)
*** If you are not sold on the idea of starting Rishard Mathews this week in a QB-WR-TE combo then I suggest starting Jamison Crowder instead. If you aren't sold on Eli Rogers as a sleeper, then I suggest CJ Prosise viable flipside. Both Crowder and Prosise are on fire right now and will match up accordingly in a Draftkings salary cap.***
