Make Kanye Great Again?

What I Hope Kanye And Trump Discussed During Their Meeting

President-elect Donald Trump had an important meeting last Tuesday. No, he wasn't being briefed on intel or discussing his business conflicts or even thinking about the alleged Russian cyber attacks. He was meeting with Kanye West.

As soon as Kanye walked into Trump Tower in NYC, speculation as to what they could possibly have to talk about hit the internet. Although Kanye said later in a tweet that the two discussed "multicultural issues," here's a list of other important topics I hope were brought up.

1. Kanye's meltdown

For both of their sakes, I'm hoping that Kanye addressed the elephant (no political party pun intended) in the room. In late November, after cancelling the remaining 21 shows on his Saint Pablo tour, Kanye was hospitalized and put on psychiatric hold. His meeting with Trump was his first public appearance since being released. Kanye has kept quiet about the incident publicly, but if anyone were going to get the inside scoop, it would probably be the future leader of the free world.

2. Running for president

At one point, Kanye announced his plan to run for president in 2020. While most Americans didn't take Kanye seriously, maybe they should have. After all, Trump has shown that anything is possible when it comes to winning a presidential race. But from the looks of Kanye's tweet later that day, he's willing to wait until 2024 to give Trump a shot at eight years in the White House.

3. Yeezys

Every shoe fanatic knows that Kanye's trademark Yeezy shoes for Adidas are some of the most iconic shoes of our time, but what could help 'Ye finally win the Adidas-Nike rivalry once and for all? Making Yeezys the official shoe of the United States of America would probably increase Adidas' market share. Thoughts, President Trump?

4. Making Kanye Great Again

Can you just imagine Trump trying to impress Kanye by rapping "I Miss the Old Kanye" to Kanye? Trump even had the pink polo; he thought he was Kanye.

5. Hair

Although Donald Trump's hair has always been a famous entity of its own, Kanye's hair just recently began getting buzz when he showed up to their meeting with bleached blonde hair.

6. The "Famous" Video

Have you forgotten about this music video? You probably wouldn't have if you were one of the people featured. I wonder what Trump thought. Was he appalled? Did he appreciate the artistry? Would he rather have been placed by Taylor Swift instead of Rihanna? So many questions.

7. A cabinet appointment

Who cares if Kanye didn't even vote? While the majority of the United States didn't take his announcement seriously, Trump probably should. It's the thought that counts, right? With a presidential run in his near future, it couldn't hurt for Kanye to dive into the swamp now. How does "Secretary of Being More Influential Than Steve Jobs" sound, Mr. West?

8. Conspiracy theories

Neither Kanye nor Trump are new to the world of accusing things of being rigged. Prior to the election, Trump speculated that it would be rigged, and even more recently accused the media of working against him. Kanye, on the other hand, threatened to boycott the 2017 Grammy Awards if he wasn't nominated for Album of the Year. Maybe these two are onto something and the world really is out to get them.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
