Kansas City: The City Of Fountains And Really Good BBQ

The Kansas City metro area is made up of eight counties, four on Missouri and four in Kansas. There are 2.34 million people that live in the area and that number continues to rise. So why are people moving to Kansas City? There are a variety of reasons people would want to move or come to Kansas City.

For starters, the BBQ in Kansas City is phenomenal and very diverse. There are a variety of different BBQ places in Kansas City that range from fancier places to more a more rouged home style kinda BBQ.

Another reason people come to Kansas City is the Plaza. The Plaza is a drive-in mall that has a variety of stores like Forever 21, Apple, and Vineyard Vines in addition to a lot of great restaurants like Buca Di Beppo, a really good Italian food place, or Fogo De Chao, a fantastic Brazilian steakhouse.

Another fun thing people enjoying coming to Kansas City is watching the town's baseball team, the Kansas City Royals, who have a beautiful stadium with some amazing fountains and really cheap tickets.

Two historically cool things that are specific to Kansas City is the World War 1 museum and the Negro Leagues baseball museum, both of which are really fascinating as you can learn a lot.

Some really big positives to moving to Kansas City is that if you work in the city, you don't have to live in the city. Thanks to I-70, it is pretty easy to get in and out of the city with relatively minor rush hour traffic.

Since you wouldn't be living in the city you can live in one of the great suburbs that surround it like Lee's Summit, Blue Springs, Grain Valley, and a variety of other towns all of which have great school systems if you have kids.

Finally, my favorite thing about Kansas City is the great football here. Ranging the Chiefs to even high school football, if you have kids that are interested in football and either wanna play or watch really good football, Kansas City is the city for you.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
