We All Want A Justin Timberlake To Our Jimmy Fallon

We All Want A Justin Timberlake To Our Jimmy Fallon

I don't know about you guys, but I for sure don't see many friendships like the one Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake have. l literally want Justin Timberlake on Jimmy Fallon every night so I can have the antics in my life all the time. I often find myself rewatching videos of them singing together because they are always so happy and it makes me so happy.

I feel like a friendship this pure is hard to come by these days, people expect way too much out of each other.
Justin Timberlake spends a lot of his time on tour, making music, or just living his life and with that much going on its got to be hard to keep up with all of the people you care about. People often get caught up in what we want people to do for us. We want people to reach out to us, we want people to check on us, we want people to care for us, but are we really doing those things for other people?

I think from Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake's friendship we can learn that we don't have to be a part of someone's life every day for them to still be a close friend of ours. JT and JF definitely don't see each other every day of their lives, but when they do see each other they always pick up right where they left off, and you'd think they did see each other all of the time. This is how all of our friendships should be.

Personally, I have never been the person to need to talk to someone all day, every day to feel like we are good friends. That doesn't mean that I don't feel left out of my friends' lives, because they aren't updating me with what is going on, but I am constantly checking up on them. Honestly, it gets exhausting being the one who always reaches out first, or the one who immediately updates their friends on their life, but they don't return that. Of course, I don't see first hand Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon's friendship, but I am willing to bet that they don't worry about the state of their friendship if it ever feels like one of them is putting in more effort than the other.

The whole point is we should be looking to Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake on maintaining healthy and fun friendships. No matter how we feel about our friendship with certain people, they are still our friends and I am willing to bet they would still do anything in the world for you if they really cared that much. Don't take your friends for granted, no matter how far or how close they are to you. They will always be waiting to hear about your life, no matter how long it has been since you two last talked.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
