If you have a sister, you know what all of these things are about.

1. Have you ever just bought a really cute piece of clothing, but when you go to put it on, it's nowhere to be found?

So, this is how it goes, you're rummaging through your closet and drawers trying to find that super cute top you just got from your favorite store. You were extremely excited to wear it, but you just cannot find it. You text every family member asking if they've seen it and to no surprise the one who responds, "I may or may not have it on right now, and I'm with my friends" is your sister. Who would've guessed?

2. When you and your sister are hanging out in a group, nobody else understands your inside jokes and they begin to think y'all might be crazy.

My sister and I's relationship is based solely off of our love for quoting various movies. So, there are often times when we will just bust out a few lines and think we are the funniest people ever, but our friends are looking at us like we might be insane.

3. You and your sister are always asked by strangers, "are y'all twins?"

No, y'all aren't twins, but it's a very common question you have been asked growing up. You just don't understand how people could even mistake y'all for twins because in your eyes, you look nothing alike.

4. To you, no boy will ever be good enough for your sister.

You can't help but be overly protective of your sister, because when she's hurt, you're hurt. Seeing your sister in pain is the worst thing, and you would do anything to make sure the people in her life will be good for her.

5. Every terrible fight you've ever had with your sister gets called off when your sister makes you laugh.

No matter how hard you try to stay mad at your sister to try and make her learn her lesson, the second she does something silly in an attempt to win back your affection, you can't help but fold.

6. There are just some things that you can't tell anyone but your sister.

You know that no matter what is going on, you can trust her with anything and she will always have your back. There's nothing too big or small that your sister won't be there for.

7. You never have to pretend to be someone you're not around your sister.

If you just rolled out of bed and have messy hair and disgusting morning breath, your sister won't judge you. You can also act as weird and crazy as you want around her because chances are, she'll just join in on the fun.

8. A bonus of having a sister is that you'll never have to choose between your friends who will be your maid of honor in your wedding.

Since tradition has it that your sister is supposed to be the maid of honor anyway, this makes choosing one quick and simple. Plus, who knows you better than your sister? Probably no one.

Suffice it to say, having a sister can be a roller coaster of emotions, but you wouldn't trade her for the world.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
