This past week I had the opportunity to attend a Master Class taught by Kristin Chenoweth. This experience was such a wonderful and moving experience for myself and my students that attended with me. I took away so many different things, but Ms. Chenoweth said something that I will hold with me forever. Just press delete.
We all have them. Those people, those voices, those thoughts that seem to plaugue our minds, those outside voices seem to make us believe that we can't accomplish our dreams. As Ms. Chenoweth was working with the students that evening many times she reminded them and the audience to just press delete. Delete those thoughts that plague your mind.
I am normally pretty confident in myself, but there are a few things that I always feel that I will never be good enough. I won't be the teacher that my students need and deserve, and that I can't help them achieve success. Just press delete. Sometimes I don't feel like I'm a good enough friend or daughter. Just press delete. I love that phrase.
Over the past few days I have been reminding myself to just press delete. I needed these words and maybe you do too. Just press delete friends. Just press delete.
