I am proud to be a woman. One might even call me a feminist. I have always been an advocate for women's rights and I am a strong believer that everyone (not just men and women) should be viewed as equals. The rise of feminism has been exponential in the last few years and although most feminists are sane, there are the radicals. They have been given the name feminazis and tend to be over-the-top when it comes to pretty much everything and seem to want women to be better than men, which is not the point at all.
With Hillary Clinton running in this year's presidential election, the line between feminists and feminazis is becoming more distinct. A feminazi will vote for Hillary because she is a woman, which somehow qualifies her to be president over any man.
ATTENTION: if you are voting for Hillary simply because she is a woman, you are no better than the people who voted for Obama simply because he is black.
In saying this, I am not saying in any way that being a woman makes Hillary any less qualified in the same way that being black didn't make Obama any less qualified. The main thing I am saying is that people should make a more educated vote than deciding by sex, ethnicity or political party.
This being said, I would be incredibly and undoubtedly disappointed if Hillary Clinton were to be the first woman president. To start things off, she is a liar. If you watch the news at all, you know that Hillary lied about the killing of four Americans in Benghazi, saying that the attacks were spontaneous even though she knew they were planned terrorist attacks.
Worse than that, she is a criminal. She committed treason by sharing private information. According to law, all letters and emails sent or received by federal officials are considered government property. She blatantly broke the law, yet instead of a crime, it's considered a "scandal." Instead of owning up to what she did and taking the fall like a decent human being, she denied it ever happening and got away with it.
Looking back to the time of the Clinton-Gore campaign, we can't forget about Chinagate and the bribes that were taken to help siphon funds into the DNC. Or how about the missing record of Hillary firing seven employees from the United States travel office and replacing them with people from Arkansas? Or my personal favorite, the fact that they shipped furniture from the White House to their personal home and claimed it was donated. Hillary has been a part of so many "scandals" she probably can't even count how many.
Regardless of Hillary's sex, ethnic background or whatever else you want to judge people on, she is an awful candidate. If you were to describe Hillary with all of her "scandals" to someone without a name or a face, that person would probably call you an idiot for thinking that kind of person can run our country.
This is not a pro-Trump article. It is just an article saying that Hillary Clinton should not be our president and should not be remembered as our first female president. I believe if we are going to put a woman in the oval office, she should be strong and powerful, honest and a good person. There are plenty of female figures who can be looked up to and admired. I think our first female president should be a woman who young girls can look up to. Electing Hillary is not a step forward in the feminist movement; it's two steps back.
