Alzheimer's Disease is a disease that hits close to home for myself and my family. My grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer's about ten years ago and this last September, he unfortunately passed away. He was so important to me that my son's middle name is his middle name. I also got to volunteer in an Alzheimer's home during my junior year of high school and that experience really opened my eyes.
