A Journey of Eight Thousand Miles

A year ago, I traveled to the US from Bangladesh, my home country. It was my first time traveling abroad. It was also my first time traveling alone. Apart from all the nervousness, I learned that the world is bigger than my home, my city, and my country. When we get very used to a place, we don't perceive that there the world beyond what we see. Our world is bigger than we think. Don't believe me? Go travel!

I was not able to take any pictures of my journey from Dhaka to Abu Dhabi. I have pictures beyond that. I traveled more than 8000 miles and it took me around 26 hours to finish my journey.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
