The internet started burnin' up on February 18 when US Weekly posted an article where they had multiple sources confirm to them that Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas are going to be starting the band again as "JONAS" that would include a documentary and, of course, new music. There are 3000 reasons (see what I did there) for one of our favorite childhood bands to get back together so we can all relive the best days of our lives.
First off, they make amazing bops
I don't think the late 2000s would be the same without the JoBros. In their time together, they have released four studio albums, four soundtracks, and two live albums. They gave us bops such as "S.O.S.", "When You Look Me In The Eyes", "Year 3000", "Lovebug", "Tonight", and many more.
An album full of pop-rock songs would be great to add to their catalog. Some of their later work like "First Time" showed a more mature style and lyrical content. Singing about their love lives like engagement and marriage could be some possible ideas for some new ideas. Just a thought...
The timing is right
2019 marks the 10th anniversary for fourth studio album "Lines, Vines, and Trying Times", their movie "Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience", and their short-lived Disney Channel series "Jonas".
What a great time to get back on the road and get nostalgic with their fans. When it comes to their brother's solo careers, none of them have released any huge projects when it comes to music, films, or other things in a while so they could totally get the band back to create.
Their rumored documentary would be a great time to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of "Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience". They could use their time now to show them making new music and even possible their love lives. I'm just saying they got some time to make some great projects.
The fans needs a proper comeback
The last time the band tried to make a comeback, it didn't really go as the brothers and fans hoped and planned. Their 2012-2013 reunion ended with two singles, two world tours, and a failed fifth studio album that never saw the light of day. I believe it was too soon for them.
Joe and Nick got a small taste of what it was like to release music outside of the band with Joe's underrated debut solo album "Fastlife" and Nick's short-lived side project "Nick Jonas & The Administration". They got back together for their 2012-2013 reunion when all of their creative solo juices weren't done flowing.
Sadly, nothing has been confirmed by any of the brothers so far but Jonas Brothers fans all over the world, like you and me, are freaking out. Let's cross our fingers for 2019 reunion of our beloved brothers.
