The Jon Bellion Concert Experience

It's no question that going to concerts is almost always guaranteed to be an amazing experience: The atmosphere of the concert, enjoying amazing music with your friends, meeting new people, and of course, getting to see your favorite artists live is wonderful. As artists increase their fanbase and become more popular, concerts grow larger and more energetic. A Jon Bellion concert is no exception to this. From the eyes of a long time Jon Bellion fan, his concerts are an ultimate experience.

From when he released his album "The Human Condition," his first album that was able to be purchased through iTunes or in stores, Bellion's fanbase has grown at amazing speeds. Before "The Human Condition," he released four other albums on SoundCloud and other downloadable sites at no cost, to help build and strengthen his fanbase. His first couple tour runs included small venues with devoted fans who had followed him from the start. Then, along with the release of "The Human Condition," Bellion announced that he would be starting "The Human Condition Tour" in the summer of 2016. Part one of this tour featured twenty-seven cities across the country, almost all of which sold out.

This tour was such a success and sold out so quickly, that Bellion excitedly announced he would soon begin "The Human Condition Tour Part II." This tour consisted of mostly the same locations, but even bigger venues with even more people able to attend. As the second part came and went, Bellion was invited to open for Twenty One Pilots on their tour, as well as a "The Human Condition Tour Europe.' He then started "The Human Condition Tour Part III," which started on September 8th, 2017.

I had the awesome opportunity to see him in concert in Phoenix on September 25th with the rest of his group "Beautiful Mind." I have a firm belief that general admission seats in the pit are some of the best spots you can get at a concert. Luckily, that's the spot I got, specifically the second row from the barricade.

Imagine being surrounded by a hundred other people, all who share a love for the same person on stage. Everyone sings along to all of the songs. Everyone appreciates what's happening on stage. To be quite honest, it's a beautiful experience. One of the best parts of Bellion's concerts was his special attention to detail.

"Concerts are supposed to be different than the records, that's what makes concerts cool," is one thing I remember Bellion saying at his concert, which is exactly what he does. While performing, Bellion mixes his songs perfectly, giving just the right amount of uniqueness to keep the energy high. All of his lyrics have special meanings and each song carries its own message. Bellion really cares about his music and wants to give his fans the best music possible. And that's why a Jon Bellion concert is the ultimate experience.

In case you're unaware, "resting bitch face" is the term used to describe when a person's natural, expressionless face makes it look like they are mad at the world. Whether they are walking down the street or simply spacing out thinking about what to eat for dinner, it's very easy for others to assume that this person is either upset or mad at them. Because of this, those of us with Resting Bitch Face (RBF), and especially us women, have all experienced many of the same situations and conversations, including:

We've all had a crush before. Whether it leads to something or nothing, the process has all been the same. The awkward feelings, the stalking, and the stress of trying to keep this huge secret. The feeling of becoming a total spazz is something that cannot be avoided, and the most spazzy family that can relate to this feeling is the Belcher's.

At the tender age of 18, we are bestowed with the title of “adult.” For 17 years, we live under the rules and guidelines of our parents, school, and government, and to stray from any of those rules or guidelines marks us as a rebel. At 18, though, we must choose which college we want to go to or what career we want. We are allowed and encouraged to vote. We can buy lottery tickets and cigarettes. We can drop out of school, leave our household, and do other "adult" things. At 18, we start down a path of thinking for ourselves, when for the entirety of our lives other institutions have been mandated to think and do for us.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.
