Drop what you’re doing now, there is earth-shattering news to report. Jojo, that girl you loved in the early 2000’s, is back from the musical dead to share a brand new album with you. “Mad Love.”, her comeback album, has taken the world by storm and Jojo is topping the charts in a plethora of countries. I’ll be the first to admit- it took a couple of times listening to the album to me to warm up to all of the songs, but there are some absolutely killer tracks on here. Here’s just a sampling of thoughts had while listening to “Mad Love.”.

1. My middle-school self is THRIVING.

2. I can’t believe Jojo finally got out of her terrible contract and is making her own music again.

3. #HometownPride am I right, Massachusetts.

4. I love how all of the tracks and the title of the album end with a period.

5. The first track, "Music.", is making me cry right now.

6. Jojo and a piano is literally all my ears will ever need.

7. One of the tracks, "Good Thing.", is upbeat. Let’s see how this goes.

8. It’s confirmed, the second track is a jam. It’s like a fun, party tune.

9. The album cover is beautiful, WOW.

10. I am wheezing at the fact that Alessia Cara is on this album.

11. I have prayed for this collaboration to happen and I never thought I would see the day when it came true.

12. The Alessia Cara track is lit.

13. It’s kind of dark and brooding and the beat in the background gives me life.

14. Alessia’s voice is like cutting through a microwaved stick of butter. Smooth.

15. Honestly though, the two of them together are the definition of a power duo.

16. "F*** Apologies." will always be one of my favorite tracks on this album because I saw it performed live. **humble brag**

17. Wiz Khalifa being on this track is just another example of a collaboration I have always wanted to see but never thought I would. It’s golden.

18. Jojo holds literally nothing back.

19. "FAB." just makes me laugh.

20. Like, I think it’s a smash hit, but I love that it’s an acronym for a much fiercer set of words.

21. "Vibe." is one of my favorite tracks on the album. I love the music itself, and Jojo’s voice is so beautiful.

22. Her lyrics are absolutely cutthroat.

23. I wonder who hurt her.

24. Whoever hurt her has no idea how much she wants to hurt them, LOL.

25. "i Am." was also performed live in front of my face so I am slightly biased towards how much I love it.

26. In all seriousness, it’s a fantastic song and it’s so beautiful.

27. Like many of her other songs, "i Am." Is both beautiful and lyrically intelligent.

28. Jojo has such an amazing range.

29. Anyone that thinks Jojo is a one-hit wonder or lost her talent simply needs to listen to "i Am." once.

30. "Clovers.", one of the songs on the deluxe album, is absolutely fire.

31. The beginning reminds me of a remix called “Gold Dust” by DJ Fresh.

32. "Clovers"., is just as beautiful as many of the other tracks on the album but also has a lot of good rhythmic undertones.

33. Overall, this album is truly special and I’m so glad she produced new music that is both reflective of her growth and experiences and also has some really relevant and fun beats.

34. I hope she goes on tour so I can hang out with her from a far distance.

35. GO LISTEN TO #MADLOVE!

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…
