If you have been an avid Bachelor/Bachelorette watcher, you may know of a woman named JoJo. Honestly, even if you aren't a fan, I know you've heard of her. In the most recent Bachelor season, Ben fell in love with a sweet, beautiful girl-next-door who was genuine and won America's heart. Many, including myself, were heartbroken when Ben chose Lauren B. (even though they are cute together, let's be real). It was the best moment when Chris Harrison told the world that JoJo would be the Bachelorette.
I was so excited for this new season that premiered on May 23. I saw the list of men who would be battling to win her heart, and I couldn't wait for her to find her future husband. I thought she actually wanted to find love.
I was wrong.
After watching JoJo for the last two months, I discovered that she was not the person I thought she was. For the first few episodes, she was bubbly and fun and flirty. I was originally glad that a confident JoJo was ready for love. But as she got deeper and deeper into this journey, she started to disappoint me. She was telling everyone that she really liked them. Kissing everyone from Day 1. I was then suspicious when she started sending innocent people home. Those with sketchy backgrounds, looming ex's, and anger issues kept getting roses. I was very confused as to what she was doing.
Finally, the last straw for me was James Taylor. She turned to him and told him he was everything she ever wanted in a guy. He sang to her for God's sake. He was so innocent and sweet. Then she turned him away.
It was very clear that I was not a fan of JoJo's.
AND if that wasn't bad enough, she kept begging Chase to open up and tell her how he felt. She had an amazing day with him, said that he was so playful and fun and so REAL. She invited him to the fantasy suite. After Robby swept in and ruined Chase's momentum, he told her that he loved her. He gave her his heart.
She walked out. She sent him home.
How do you ask someone to tell you they love you and then send. them. home?
ON THE SPOT.
Robby has a sketchy past with his ex, and it's a tad convenient that Jordan has a famous, football-playing, superstar brother. The relationships she has with them seem all physical and the emotional drama is pulling in a ton of viewers. All the good guys who had the relationships that were also friendships, the ones that genuinely wanted what's best for her, are sitting at home drunk and making amazing video commentaries of the Bachelorette.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is - Good luck JoJo. I hope you are happy with whoever you choose. Just don't come knocking on 26 doors when it crashes and burns.
Maybe Ben dodged a bullet.
