Why John Mulaney Is Our Spirit Animal

If you haven’t seen him, John Mulaney is basically all of us. I don’t know how many times I’ve watched it since I was shown his first and second comedy special. Since then, basically my entire life has involved quoting him involuntarily and having conversations in Mulaney Gifs. He describes my life to a tee and more:

1. When your outfit is on point


2. When someone eats the last of anything


3. When you sit around and Netflix all day


4. When you skip the gym to get Wendy's


5. When someone asks if you have a dog and you launch into a story

6. When he just gets it


7. When you forget how old you are

8. When someone orders food for the squad


9. When you are driving hungry

There are honestly so many Gifs, pictures, videos, podcasts, interviews … etc. that I could put on here that literally describe life itself but then this article wouldn’t be short and you would never read it. John Mulaney, you are going to close with “New in Town”

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
