Hello everyone and Merry Christmas! As the month of November comes, we are all suddenly surrounded by stores with holiday decorations, Christmas music on the radio, and all that good holiday jazz.

An all-time favorite Christmas album is Michael Buble's "Christmas." Who doesn't love a Canadian singer with a voice of an angel singing Christmas classics? We've had many artists make Christmas albums to put us into that holiday spirit. For example, Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey, and many more. On October 26 we got the Christmas album no one expected, from none other than John Legend.

A Legendary Christmas, not only gives us some of our favorite Christmas songs, but also some of his own new songs with legendary artists, like Stevie Wonder. The first song on the album, "What Christmas Means to Me," starts with a Christmassy vibe to it. Showing Legend's merry side with a mix of holiday spirit, which we rarely see. John Legend is known for his romantic songs that make us feel head over heels for someone, or can make us emotional (I cried for like two days straight after I heard "All of Me"). Here is a list of the rest of the songs and descriptions:

  • "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" starts softly with Legend's melodious voice soothing us. I definitely recommend that song for when you need to relax or you have a romantic date.
  • "Bring Me Love" has a happy melody about that one special person that we all want this Christmas. One person who brings us all the happiness in the world and we all we really want for Christmas is to spend it with them.
  • "By Christmas Eve" is a soothing romantic song promising your significant other that you'll be there for the celebration. He sings about doing whatever he can to make it to his lover.
  • "The Christmas Song" is by far my favorite. It combines all our favorite Christmas elements and the original song adopting a new vibe. A song to put on while decorating the tree and hanging up some lights. Great song while baking some Christmas treats.
  • "Christmas Time Is Here", the name the correct way to describe the song. A nice tune to put in the car with the windows down and the chilly air surrounding us. A reminder that
  • "Please Come Home For Christmas" will make you so happy. It has a kind of jazz tone and you definitely can feel the romance Christmas brings. Love in the air is present and people are ready to find their Christmas love.
  • "Silver Bells" might be an old song but he definitely mixes it up. Some modern beats put into a classic carol.

Those are my favorite songs of this wonderful album. John Legend has definitely surpassed and went above and beyond this Christmas. I can assure you that putting these songs on will make everyone get in that amazing Christmas spirit. After November 22nd get your Christmas playlists ready and put some Christmas tunes on!

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
