Find any college student, especially around finals week, and it is very likely that they will be watching Netflix. A favorite of a lot of students ia the sitcom Friends - the perfect series to binge watch. Now this is might be an unpopular opinion, but I cant stand Ross. I find him whiny, childish and pretentious, and I never wanted Rachel to end up with him. An even more unpopular opinion? I always wanted Joey, that adorable idiot, to end up with her. Here are 10 reasons why Joey and Rachel were perfect for each other:

1. They were best friends

They were perfect roommates and always knew how to have fun together. Way before they ever developed feelings for each other, they knew how to have a ton of fun together. Joey helped Rachel relax and brought out her wild side.

2. He was more in love with her than anything

Joey was head-over heels in love. He acted totally unlike himself and it was adorable.

3. He was willing to raise Emma as his own

We can all agree that Joey is not fit to raise children. But man was it incredibly sweet to see him want to set up and raise Rachel and Ross' baby girl. Now that is love.

4. They knew how to laugh together

Regardless if it was laughing at Ross' speech in Barbados or just goofing off in the apartment, they were always making each other laugh.

5. Joey made Rachel feel safe

Where does Rachel go when she and Ross figure out that living together as friends won't work? She runs to Joey. Even when it is something as small as watching a scary movie, she has no problem curling up to Joey. He is her safe haven, the one who makes her feel safe no matter what is going on.

6. Rachel didn't care that Joey was not the brightest

One of Joey's most lovable qualities was that he was not very smart. Now when Joey said something that exposed his less than average intelligence, Chandler would make a cynical joke and Ross would just be pretentious but not Rachel. Rachel accepted Joey for who he was.

7. Joey puts Rachel's feelings above everything else

Joey was with a ton of different women on the show and some he really liked. Rachel was different from all of them. He was so concerned about what was best for Rachel and that she would be happy.

8. Joey takes her to set even though he knows she gets a little crazy

When Rachel got around celebrities, she went a little crazy. She got their phone numbers, autographs or made sure that she got her 5 minutes of fame. Even though she did it time and time again, Joey kept bringing her around because he loved her.

9. Rachel is completely supportive of Joey's career

Rachel goes to set with Joey all the time. She helps him practice for auditions. She is always excited for him when he has new stuff happening at work. When he gets nominated for an award, it's only natural that Rach is right by his side.

10.They had great chemistry

They would have had an amazing love story. The writers did them a big disservice.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
