Lemme preface this:
I've called JoCo home from just 6 mo. old to just before my 16th birthday. We all have different exp. of the place we lovingly call JoCo as home, but there are some universal facts, such as:
1. With 11 high schools, you already know your alliance- for sure, & you have trash talk of the others for days.
"Once a pirate, always a pirate- amirite, or amirite?"
2. It's past 12am, so you know good & well that your only options are: Cook Out, Walmart, McDonald's, or Harris Teeter.
3. "The Outlets" or "The Pottery," no further explanation needed.
4. Everybody & their best friend buys the MegaTix for the summertime
5. Ya know, Scotty McCreery is from the next town over, so you can always break that fact out.
*Water Tower Town begins to play in the background*
6. Bored w your friends? Done w school, but don't want to go home? Tired of the 4 walls of your house? You're prob already otw to Starbucks.
7. C-Town. Our biggest town, good ole Clayton, & don't get us started on the Comets.
8. premier. SHOCKERS. you already kno- don't act like you don't.
9. "Let's go to White Oak" is the default for dinner & a movie on the weekends
10. You know how to appreciate FFA, Ag, & all things farming.
p.s. Thank a Farmer! 3x a day think about where your food is coming from & be grateful!
