8 Times The Jo Bros Stole Our Beating Hearts

Let's be real: Nick will always be the love of my life.

There are just some parts of my childhood that have become harder and harder to let go of... like the Jonas Brothers.

I remember sitting on the swing set in 5th grade with some of my best friends, fighting over who our favorite Jo Bro was (poor Kevin).

While I'm on this track of memory, let me remind you guys of the 8 times this trio stole our hearts away:

1. The Year 3000 Music Video

THE FETUS YEARS. I am almost certain this is the moment when every single girl fell in love with these three. Not to mention, this song is still a bop. (Personally, I have it on my iTunes account still, but let's not focus on that).

2. The Burning Up Music Video:

I can say that this was probably the moment I decided who my favorite Jo Bro was (ily Nick 4ever). The fact of the matter is that they look like a whole meal in this music video and what is better than watching these guys be heroes and save the day? Also, the Big Rob verse is a plus.

3. Lovebug, Again

Can we talk about how this was a cute vintage bop and then BAM they smack you dead in the feels with that guitar and rock your world after that? Why do I still want a man to sing this to me? Why am I crying about the Jo Bros all over again?

4. Hannah Montana x Jo Bros

The most iconic moment on Disney Channel, hands down. No explanation necessary.

5. When You Look Me In The Eyes, Nick.

I am an adult in college and I still cry like a baby when I hear this song. Why is this so deep? I literally listened to this when I was like 11? Maybe this is why I have such high expectations in men... why can't everyone be a Nick, Joe or Kevin? (Also, I die right at 2:18 and 2:33--those vocal ranges, my heart, I cannot).

6. Send it On!

Wow, men who care about saving our planet... I am dying. How are they so perfect?

7. The Jonas Brother's 3-D Concert Experience

8. The Instagram Account Reactivation

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
