After over five years, the Jersey Shore cast has come back and they are better and more dramatic than ever. I am going to give you a run down on what happened during the premiere of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” which takes place in Miami, Florida.

The show kicks off with a little recap of everyone’s lives now and how they have changed since the last time they were all together. As they call it in the show: “life after the shore.” All the girls seem to be living the same lives. Snooki and Jwoww are both married with children and are pretty settled down. Deena just recently got married as well. As for the boys, Pauly remains the only single one of the group but does have a child. Vinny and Ronnie both have girlfriends, with Ronnie having a baby on the way. As Mike puts it, “the situation” is under construction. Mike has been sober for two years and is currently in the process of handling some legal troubles.

One thing that the show did not disappoint on is how dramatic every scene is. For example, when Jwoww was on the phone with Mike before the Miami trip he was talking to her about possibly doing jail time for his crimes. Of course, when Mike said he could be doing 5-10 years in jail, Snooki gasped incredulously and everyone was immediately in a tizzy. Later on, when they all arrive at the mansion in Miami, Vinny comes alone when he was supposed to be with Mike. Again, as per usual, everyone freaks out and questions where Mike is at. They cut to a black and white clip of Mike walking in slow motion into the court house. Right before cutting to a dramatic commercial break Vinny goes “I have some news for you guys.” As if on cue, Snooki gasps again as they’re told Mike may not be accompanying them on their vacation.

The house they are staying in is definitely a step up from the previous one. They have a huge pool with a great view of the water. The whole décor is much more high class and boujee. As Snooki says, “We’re like RICH!”

After a long day of reminiscing and rekindling, the gang goes out on the town, like a true Jersey Shore reunion. We learn a few things during the second half of this episode and they are as follows: Mike was cleared to come to Miami, Jwoww is still the voice of reason and Snooki can still “turn the fuck up.”

After watching this episode, I am expecting to see a lot more beef between Deena and Ronnie because that seemed to be the only fight anyone had throughout this whole first episode. The elephant in the room is of course Sammie not returning for the vacation. We learn that Deena is still very close with Sammie and doesn’t feel comfortable with everyone, especially Ron, trash talking her. However, even Jwoww says, “If you’re not going to come on vacation with us, you’re going to get roasted, HARD.” There is going to be some heavy drama between Deena and Ronnie unless they both can forget about the whole Sammie issue.

The funniest part of the entire episode is when Vinny starts dancing ridiculously at the club. He walks us through this whole dance move he has where, as the beat rises, he pretends to try and open a lock to a door. As the beat gets bigger and bigger he starts banging on the door more until finally when the beat drops, he pretends to kick the door open and goes crazy.

I cannot wait to see what kind of drama and entertainment happens this season. I think they are trying to keep the same crazy vibe going but you can tell that everyone has matured and grown up since the last time. Check out next week’s episode on MTV.com.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
