A Definitive Ranking Of The "Jersey Shore" Cast, Pay Attention
@jerseyshore

Yeaaah buddy! In 2018 our favorite guidos and guidettes will be returning to MTV for a reunion. "Jersey Shore" was a very popular reality television show, mainly because of how stupid the drama was. I mean, that's at least what I liked about it.

Here's my personal ranking of all nine characters that appeared on the show from worst to best.

9. Angelina Pivarnick

This one seems fairly obvious considering she's the only character who left in back-to-back seasons and then got kicked out of the house. Vinny donned her "The Staten Island Dump" due to where she was from and how she behaved. All of the roommates at one point referred to her as a piece of trash. She may not have always started the drama but she certainly did her best to get in the middle of all of it.

8. Samantha "Sammi Sweetheart" Giancola

This is a tough one for me because a lot of her issues on the show are centralized around what Ronnie did to her in Miami but despite that, she is one of the two main pot stirrers in the house, especially regarding Ron. Ronnie may have caused the drama in season two but she kept it going and turned her back on people that were put in a really hard position.

Season three was atrocious and once again, despite Ronnie's actions, Sammi was worse off because of how she handled it. Her on-off toxic relationship with Ron absolutely destroyed her on the show and she will forever be remembered by saying "STAHP" to Ron.

7. Ronnie Ortiz-Magro

Again, very tough for me to put Ronnie down this far. I love Ronnie simply because he was a funny guy. What he did to Sam in Miami? Not okay. If she didn't continuously handle it like a twelve-year-old, he'd be below her, but she...handled it like a twelve-year-old. What Ronnie did to Sammi in Jersey during season three wasn't right either because he didn't handle her bullshit the way he should have, but his feelings are justified.

All Sam bullshit aside, Ronnie was a solid guy who never really tried to start problems, other than cheating on Sammi. He stayed out of everyone's hair and tried to do what he thought was right.

6. Michael "The Situation" Sorrentino

It's tough to put Mike ahead of Ron and Sam. Mike is the central pot stirrer of the house and caused most of the drama that went down throughout the series. He did it because he thought he was doing right by everyone but he was really only doing what was right for himself.

His involvement with Sam and Ron's relationship always caused friction between all of them and his creeping on Snooki almost caused her and her now husband Jionni to break up. As it turns out, Mike was addicted to prescription painkillers while the show was going on. Hats off to him for being two years sober!

5. Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi

Snooki always seemed to be a victim in almost everything that was going on. When the show started no one really liked her but by the end of the first season she had the house's full support, especially after a guy punched her in the face. She became very close with Jenni and in season three her friend Deena joined the show.

In season four she was involved in most of the drama because of a love triangle formulated by Mike that includes himself, her, and now husband Jionni. Even if you find her annoying at times, like I do, she never really goes out of her way to hurt anyone.

4. Vincent "Vinny" Guadagnino

Vinny is the typical Italian kid from Staten Island. He loves to eat and has high moral principles that definitely appear to be higher than the rest of the housemates. He becomes close with pretty much everybody in the house, especially Pauly and Snooki.

He never tries to get into drama but sometimes he creates it without realizing it. Despite that, his friendship with Pauly, his relationship with Snooki, and the way he handles the central problems of the house makes him a very likable character.

3. Jennifer "JWOWW" Farley

JWOWW is the alpha female for sure. She is taller and scarier than the rest of the girls and she's capable of fighting. And to make it even better, she's from Long Island! She became best friends with Snooki and defended her no matter what. In the first two seasons, she dated a douchebag named Tom.

After getting away from him she dated Roger, and now they're married. She tried her best to deal with the Sammi and Ron drama, but her methods ultimately failed.

2. Deena Nicole Cortese

The most innocent one of the group is probably Deena. She replaced Angelina in season three because Snooki basically brings her in. In the beginning, she had some problems adjusting to everyone and they had problems adjusting to her, but once she settled in she didn't have any other major problems. She was all about having a good time.

1. Paul "Pauly D" DelVecchio

This guy just straight up loves life. He tried to be friends with everyone and never tried to do anything malicious to them, including Angelina. When Mike loses everyone, Pauly still keeps him around. Overall, Pauly was a great dude and if everyone had been like him there wouldn't have been issues.

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

The transition into adulthood is never easy

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
