As the years have gone on, I have had a lot of laughs watching Jenna Marbles. I have found that she is really relatable and a lot of time she says things that really sum up college in a nutshell. From emotions that I've felt to things that I have literally said in college, here are some few things that I have found relatable as a college student.

1. She gives the advice that everyone needs to hear in college.

Whether it's your major or something that you like to do in a pastime, you do you!

2. When you realize you procrastinated too long on an assignment... Work bitch.

Admit it, it happens to all of us. You're there watching her until it's less than an hour before your assignment is due...

3. When you meet someone new, or people in your class catch you doing something... well, weird...

https://giphy.com/gifs/jenna-marbles-3OCf4oVGp7oWY

I have definitely been judged for bringing a blanket to class because I was so cold. Just me?

4. When that one teacher in that one class does that one thing to annoy you...

https://tenor.com/view/jenna-marbles-oooo-oooooooo-rage-gif-10628073

You know who I'm talking about. That one teacher that goes off for no reason, or doesn't know what they're doing too well, and you make this face every single time you talk about them. Maybe even to a friend across the room. Am I speaking from experience? ... Maybe.

5. How you get to class, or going anywhere for that matter...

Every. Single. Time. Need the novel that you are reading for the class? Nope, somehow it won't be in your backpack. Even if you remember putting it in there.

6. As your binge watching your favorite TV show in your dorm room you realize....

Been a while since you've talked to someone? Maybe grab lunch with a study buddy!

7. In college, you have that "I need to work out more" phase.

You then realize it's not a phase, it's a constant thought and lifestyle. But you'll get to it! Eventually...

8. And on top of working out, you should be eating healthy.

Don't want to get the freshman 15, right?

9. And then after deciding to be more healthy... whoops. Looks like no diet today!

Seriously, there is always tomorrow.

10. Then, there's no diet and you realize your mom isn't there to cook your favorite food.

11. Every time you see your pets at home.

Or even just an animal on campus. I've literally tried to befriend the squirrels on campus constantly, not the geese though. They're kind of jerks.

12. I don't know if this is anyone else, but this next GIF is literally me.

Ask my best friend. Seriously.

13. Sleeping in late is wonderful. Until...

14. Truth time: there are some toxic people in college.

https://giphy.com/gifs/big-brother-17-tUKs8GRcwe32E

It'll happen. And at times, even if it takes a while, you'll realize that you are better without them.

15. Taking it full circle, some final advice...

https://tenor.com/view/jennamarbles-gif-4516689

You should always come first. Do what is best for you!

Hopefully, some of you can relate, or at least enjoy the Jenna Marbles GIFS.

28 Daily Thoughts of College Students

"I want to thank Google, Wikipedia, and whoever else invented copy and paste. Thank you."

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
